Real homemade treats made with just 3 ingredients, rich in collagen and antioxidants.
Collagen gummies are everywhere. Cute jars, promises of plumper skin, and a bill that adds up quickly if you want to take them every day. Yet we already have collagen right at our fingertips: it’s in bone broth, simmered for hours. 🍓
So we tried making our own version. Three ingredients, one night in the fridge, and candies that are just as good as the originals.
Ingredients:
The steps:
1️⃣ Blend the berries with the broth until the mixture is smooth.
2️⃣ Pour the mixture into a saucepan, add the agar-agar, and heat while stirring.
3️⃣ Pour the mixture into small silicone molds, such as candy or ice cube trays.
4️⃣ Let it cool to room temperature, then put it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, it set. We took them out of the molds, and they turned out to be just like little candies... except that here, every bite is packed with collagen and antioxidants.
You can vary the fruits depending on the season: raspberries for tartness, blueberries for their deep color, and mango for a sunnier touch. They’ll keep for a few days in the fridge in an airtight container—as long as you can resist eating them all on the first night 😉
It's also a really cute way to get kids to drink the broth—they just think it's candy.
Your skin will thank you—and so will your wallet.
