Homemade beef bone broth: the collagen ally for glowing skin and a healthy gut

If there's one recipe that ticks all the comfort and health boxes, it's beef bone broth.

Rich in collagen, minerals and amino acids, it nourishes your body from within, improves digestion and restores radiance to the skin.

The benefits of beef bone broth

  • Radiant skin: thanks to collagen, which maintains elasticity and hydration
  • Strengthened joints: collagen and gelatin support cartilage
  • Optimized digestion: gelatin soothes and repairs the intestinal mucosa
  • Boost your immune system: minerals and amino acids support your natural defenses

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg quality beef bones
  • 20 cl cider vinegar
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 bay leaf, a few sprigs of thyme, a stick of lemongrass
  • Salt

Preparation:

  1. Roast the bones: 30 minutes in the oven at 200°C to release the juices and give a richer flavor.
  2. Assemble: place bones in a large stewpot, add vegetables, herbs and cider vinegar.
  3. Long, gentle cooking: cover with cold water and heat over low heat (never over high heat) for a minimum of 10 hours, or up to 72 hours for an ultra-collagen-rich broth.
  4. Strain and store: in jars, in the fridge for a week, or in the freezer for several weeks.

Tip:

One cup a day, as a course of treatment or with meals, and you'll see the difference in your skin, joints and digestion.
