Marrow bones are a simple, delicious, and often very affordable ingredient.
Bone marrow is kind of like the butcher's hidden treasure.
Often very affordable—sometimes even practically free—few people think to ask for it. And yet, it’s an ingredient that’s delicious, nutritious, and full of potential.
The concept couldn't be simpler: pop it in the oven, season it, and enjoy.
In just a few minutes, the marrow becomes melt-in-your-mouth, warm, and almost buttery. Served on a slice of toast with a pinch of fleur de sel, it’s a real treat.
But what we love even more is that the recipe doesn't stop there.
Why cook marrow bones?
Because they let you make two recipes with just one ingredient.
First, enjoy the deliciously rich roasted marrow.
Then, save the bones to make homemade broth.
It’s a simple way to cook with more flavor, more common sense, and, above all, less waste.
